PRESS RELEASE: THE OSGOODE TRILOGY
The Osgoode Trilogy, WINNER OF THREE HONORABLE MENTIONS-THE LONDON BOOK FESTIVAL, THE DIY CONVENTION AND THE HOLLYWOOD BOOK FESTIVAL.
We are pleased to announce that A Trial of One, the third in The Osgoode Trilogy, by Mary E. Martin, has received honorable mention at two major book festivals this year-DIY Convention http://www.diyconvention.com/, which brings independent artists in books, film and music together and The London Book Festival, http://www.londonbookfestival.com/, bringing authors to the attention of the international publishing community.
The second novel in The Osgoode Trilogy, Final Paradox, also received honorable mention this year at the Hollywood Book Festival http://www.hollywoodbookfestival.com/. This festival is held for the purpose of bringing authors to the attention of the film industry.
In speaking about the suspense trilogy Martin, a life long resident of Toronto, says that
“It was inspired by my law practice in Toronto. Almost every conceivable human situation plays out in a lawyer’s practice and while he or she must craft solutions, the lawyer has a wonderful window on humanity. I explore this through the protagonist of the trilogy, lawyer Harry Jenkins. With murder and fraud swirling about his practice, he grows from an indecisive, tentative soul, stuck under his senior partner’s thumb to one who can live his life with energy, conviction and passion.”
MARY E. MARTIN is available for interviews. Please contact Memacom Productions by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
